The Rephaim Society

The Beginning

Plenty of things have been updated, so feel free to visit throughout the site and enjoy it. I'm currently working on a secret project – okay, well it's not too terribly secret, but I'm not ready to announce it yet. It will be lovely, though, or at least I think it will. I'm very excited about it, and I already have a couple people who are as well. It's going to be lovely. I'm about to go finish up the glossaries, so that'll be good. I'll also be adding another journal entry soon. Other than that, there's not so much I want to talk about.

About the Name

I've chosen to call this community the Rephaim Society primarily because I wanted to distance myself from the Egyptian themes of other vampiric communities and secondarily because I am a member of the Rephaim clan of Nephilim. I have never met another Rephaim in this life but I am more than willing to receive any who wish to contact me with open arms and an open mind. If you're not familiar with the term Nephilim, feel free to look in the dictionary of terms to find out what it means and where it comes from.

About the Layout

I know what you're thinking, it's pretty bright. I agree, and I did that on purpose because I do not want to have any sort of statement about subculture, music prefrence, or ethics made by the layout alone. Also, this website is best viewed in 1024x768 settings, so if the image at the top makes your layout scroll, I apologize.
